STARTING FROM 1st April 2019
Current Affairs Programme and Simulated Tests
Current affairs programme includes an exclusive focus on current affairs for an entire month in April. It has the following special features in it:
- It will be subject or discipline-based wherein related current affairs of static portions will be covered.
- It will cover
- Current affairs from June 2018 to April 2019.
- Daily newspapers especially The Hindu.
- Government sources like PIB and PRS India.
- Economic Survey-2018 and Budget-2019 comprehensively
If you have missed one section or one newspaper you need not worry. The programme also includes 8 simulated tests on UPSC pattern.
Simulated Tests will include:
4 full-length GS tests
4 full-length CSAT tests
Most institutes give out the synopsis and answer keys after the tests. However, even after a good synopsis most candidates still are left to ponder over why some option is not correct and how to approach the question in the wisest possible manner. Most test series will show you how to just tackle a particular question but not about the required approach to crack UPSC.
Answer keys and videos would be posted on the same day of the test giving a sense of completeness on the day of the examination itself. With proper feedback and individual support opportunities, one can take corrective recourse to their preparation to handle UPSC and its changing dynamics in the best possible manner.
The tests would help you to assess not only important aspects of time management, concepts and their linkages with dimensions of static and current affairs. Also, CSAT papers would give you the confidence to clear the exam.
